SecurePrint:
Under System Settings>Printers add a printer and select IP at the top. In the address line type 192.168.100.199 – should see “Valid Address”. In the Queue field type:
XeroxSecurePrint-LBCCStaff
In the description type XeroxSecurePrint and enter location in Location. Choose Select Software from the Use dropdown and find the Xerox Altalink or Versalink printer that’s closest physically to the user’s office. Versalink C405 should work for most. Should appear in printers with a green online dot.
Papercut fix:
Get the installer from
\\lbcc\tech\Shared\Apps\papercut mobility
And put it on a thumb drive
Take it to the mac, while the person is logged in and install it
When you get the printer list selection, choose the Xerox-LBCCStaff
This will install the printer on their Mac
THEY SHOULD GET PROMPTED FOR CREDENTIAL - THIS IS THEIR XNUM and network password
