Papercut Install/Mobility Print

 

Have the user logged into the machine……….then go here and run this installer

You get this – go next until……….. ( you will get the administrator prompt, use your admin- credentials)
I am doing this on Windows 11, Windows 10 asks about installing ghost something (you can skip that)

Click Finish.  You get this (and a little green P on the task bar if you can’t find this window, click on that)

Click sign in to install, then use the users network credentials – this is how the system knows who is printing (I think, I might be wrong here, if I am use your admin- credentials)  It will eventually say it installed, then in printers and scanners you see this:

may or It may not say mobility, but it is not this one, the mobility print does NOT show the queue

Make the one that does NOT have the queue the default printer

Now they “should” be able to print and  release jobs to the Xerox through mobility print

NOTE - Alf

Check to see if xerox black and white is set in Printer Preferences. If it is set to black and white they will not be able to print in color. Change that to “Computer color” or something similar I am going off memory here.
